Introduction

RunningAI ("we", "our" or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use our App.

Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary for the proper operation of the App:

  • Email address: used for account creation, authentication and cloud synchronization of your training data.
  • Training data: your plans, workouts and progress.
  • Device identifiers and in-app events: collected by the Meta (Facebook) SDK for advertising performance measurement, such as registration completion and subscription events.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used for the following purposes:

  • Cloud synchronization of your training plans and progress.
  • Account authentication and security.
  • Account recovery.
  • Measurement of the performance of our advertising campaigns on Meta (Facebook), through anonymized conversion events.
  • Sending automated onboarding emails, such as 2, 7 and 14 days after registration, to help you get the most out of the App.
  • Sending newsletters, marketing and promotional communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which may receive data about App usage:

  • Meta (Facebook) SDK: used to measure ad conversions. When you register or subscribe, an anonymized event (CompleteRegistration or Subscribe) is sent to Meta. This may include device identifiers, such as the advertising ID. Meta's use of data is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
  • Supabase: used for secure cloud storage and synchronization of your account and training data. Privacy Policy available at: https://supabase.com/privacy
  • Crisp: used for customer support. When you contact us, your email and support messages are shared with our support coaches so we can better assist you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with the third-party services described in Section 4, exclusively for the stated purposes:

  • Meta (Facebook): receives anonymized conversion events and device identifiers for advertising measurement purposes.
  • Supabase: securely stores your account and training data.
  • Crisp: receives your email and support messages to provide customer service.

No other personal data is shared, sold or disclosed to any other external parties.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is securely stored using industry-standard encryption. Cloud data is synchronized through Supabase using secure protocols. Local data is stored on your device and is accessible only by you.

Your Rights and LGPD

Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13,709/2018), you, as a personal data subject, may request:

  • Confirmation that your personal data is being processed.
  • Access to your personal data.
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Deletion of your account and all associated data through the App, on the Settings screen, using the "Delete Account" button.
  • Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or excessive data, or data processed in violation of the LGPD.
  • Information about data sharing with third parties, when applicable.
  • Information about how your data is used.
  • Revocation of previously granted consent, when processing is based on consent.
  • Objection to certain processing activities, when applicable under the law.
  • Disabling advertising tracking in your device settings, such as "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android.

Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account through the App, on the Settings screen, using the "Delete Account" button, all your personal data, including your email and training data, will be permanently deleted from our servers.

Children's Privacy

RunningAI is not intended for use by children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
